DecodeGlobal.org becomes part of CasualGameplay.com
I'm happy to announce that as of today, DecodeGlobal.org is a part of CasualGameplay.com. Decode Global was a Montreal-based startup that created games for social change. One of their most successful games was the game "Get Water", a game about water scarcity in India and South Asia and its effects on girls' education.
I've been a long-time fan of the game and remember playing it when it was first released back in 2014, which is why I jumped on the opportunity to make Decode Global a part of Casual Gameplay when I had the chance.
With the merger, I hope to further Decode Global's original mission with their game "Get Water", which is why I'm releasing my very own game, "Water Flow", today on Casual Gameplay.
As with Get Water, in Water Flow, you'll assume the role of a southeast Indian girl who has to manage the water for her whole village. You'll go through 24 exciting levels where you'll learn all about water management, water conservation and droughts. By the end of the game, you should be an expert in the field of water management, and with your new-found knowledge, you should be able to help implement positive social change.
Decode Globals' hope was that "Together, we can improve water scarcity, education, and gender equality!" and with Water Flow, I hope to further that mission.
If you have any feedback for our new game, I'd love to hear from you on: contact@casualgameplay.com.
Have fun playing and let's go make the world a better place!
